Who we are
Asilo de San Vicente de Paul is a child welfare institution with a history stretching back to the nineteenth century. Its work has been sustained by the dedication of the Daughters of Charity, partners, benefactors and friends who share a commitment to the welfare and development of children.
Our story

On April 25, 1885, authorization was sought for the legal and official opening of Asilo de San Vicente de Paul on behalf of the Daughters of Charity.

On July 11, 1885, the office of the Governor General for the Philippines issued authority and a permit to establish the asylum in San Fernando de Dilao.

In 1983, ASVP was again accredited as a Child Welfare Institution and was also known for its hand-embroidered products.
